Wedding Bands & Pairing

Start with all wedding bands, then narrow the selection by design. Comfort matters as much as the first impression.

Metal, stones and contour are separate choices

A classic metal band emphasizes its profile and finish. Diamond and gemstone bands add set stones; a bezel describes the metal border around an individual stone. Curved and contoured bands are shaped to sit with another ring, while stackable designs invite combinations. Vintage-inspired refers to design influences rather than age. First choose the overall look, then check the actual metal, stone coverage, dimensions and setting method of the piece.

Choose your circle of light

Full eternity places stones around the whole band. Half eternity concentrates them across the top portion. Pavé describes closely set small stones; channel-set stones sit between metal walls. These categories can overlap: a half-eternity band may also be channel set.

Build a personal stack

Stackable bands are intended to combine with other rings; check their actual height and contours together. Signature is our expressive-design family. A shaped band may follow the outline of an engagement ring, while a straight band creates a different relationship. A gap is a style choice, not automatically a fault.

Check fit, not just size

Try the whole stack together. Width, inside profile, neighboring settings, and the way the rings move can change comfort. Ask whether stones or prongs will rub against the adjacent ring, and have the combination checked rather than assuming matching metal guarantees a safe fit.

Compare the complete pair

When pairing a wedding band with an engagement ring, view them from above and from the side. Note where metal touches metal, where a stone could rub a neighboring band, and whether either ring sits at an angle. Test comfort when you bend your finger and close your hand. Matching colors alone do not establish a compatible fit. If you plan to wear the wedding band on its own sometimes, consider that view too.

Think beyond the wedding day

Confirm resizing feasibility before purchase, especially for full-eternity and stone-set bands. Ask about the actual band width, metal, stone origin, and total carat weight. A style name or preview image does not establish those specifications. Final availability and service terms belong on the individual product page.

Full and partial stone coverage

A band with stones all the way around can keep its decorative pattern visible as the ring turns. A partial-stone design leaves some plain metal below the finger. That difference can influence feel, maintenance and future alteration options, but the individual construction matters. Confirm the design’s resizing limits before purchase; never assume a full-eternity ring can be resized in the same way as a plain band.
