Earrings, Necklaces & Bracelets
Start with the piece you will reach for, then explore its proportions, fastening, and detail. There is no required way to wear it.
Earrings
Studs sit at the earlobe. Hoops form a loop; huggies are smaller hoops worn close to the ear. Signature gathers more expressive designs. Look at dimensions, weight, closure type, and whether a listing is a pair or a single earring, not just the photograph.
Necklaces
Solitaire centers on one stone; tennis follows a continuous line of stones. Cross and Letter describe motifs. Bezel and Halo describe how a stone is framed. Signature and Seasonal are design edits, not gemstone quality grades. Choose the necklace first, then use its style bar to narrow the collection.
Bracelets
Explore Tennis, Flex Bangles, Station & Link, and Cuban Link as separate style families. Before purchase, compare the actual length, inner dimensions, movement, and clasp. A flexible-looking photograph is not a measurement or a promise that a piece can be bent freely.
Use measurements to picture the piece
An enlarged photograph can make a fine chain or small stud appear substantial. Check millimeter dimensions and use a ruler to picture them before ordering. For necklaces, compare the stated length with a necklace you already enjoy and allow for the pendant’s drop. For bracelets, measure your wrist and discuss the intended fit; a finished bracelet’s length and a rigid bangle’s inner dimensions are different measurements. Avoid assuming one standard allowance suits every construction.
The finishing details
For men’s rings, the intended collection labels are Classic, Bezel, and Bezel Edge; use product photos and specifications to understand the exact construction. Across jewelry, ask whether carat weight describes one stone or all stones combined. Confirm metal and diamond origin, and check care instructions for every material in the piece. Collection names describe the intended range; they do not mean every style is currently stocked.
Check fastenings and comfort
Ask how the clasp, earring back or closure works and whether you can operate it comfortably. A secure fit should not require forcing a hinge or bending a piece beyond its intended movement. Check that closures engage before wear. Stop wearing jewelry if a clasp fails to stay closed, a post bends, or a stone moves. Have it inspected before trying to adjust or repair it yourself.
Know what the description includes
For earrings, confirm whether the price and total carat weight are for a pair or a single item. For a pendant, check whether the chain is included and which length is shown. For gemstone jewelry, ask about the material, origin and any treatment that affects care. Keep the product specification and current service terms with your receipt so you can refer to the exact piece later.
